Data Engineer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineer role or similar

• Experience with:

  • Python

  • PySpark

  • SQL (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, DB2, Teradata & SparkSQL)

  • AWS and Azure

  • Databricks

• Knowledge of how to build economic data processing workflows

• Experience with data warehousing and data lake architectures

• Proficiency in data modeling, especially dimensional modeling

• Experience with integration architectures and methods

• Experience with ETL

• Knowledge and/or experience with data streaming and event-based architectures, especially Kafka

• Familiarity with DevOps principles

• Good communication skills in written and oral English

Beneficial:

• Experience in the financial sector

Assignment information:

• Start: May / June

• Duration: until 31.5.2025

• Allocation: 100 %

• Location: Helsinki or Oulu, hybrid (1-2 times per week at the office)
