More versatile process executions

With FRENDS Iron 3.4 allows you to design and execute more complex integration processes that just simple sequential processes. Iron 3.4 makes it possible to execute different set(s) of tasks based on the previous task's successfulness. You can even design your process to have multiple simulataneously executing branches and wait for the result of all branches before proceeding to next step in process.

New Routine API

FRENDS Iron 3.4 has a new RESTful API for starting routines and querying routine instance's state utilizable with any client capable of using HTTP. API allows for passing parameters for tasks in simple JSON structure.

Web UI improvements

Web UI has new drag-and-drop design canvas for routines making it easier to design complex processes. For executed processes you can see the process as designed and see the execution path that was executed for a process.

FRENDS Iron element tagging has taken a step forward in terms of making them more usable and easier to use in filtering views in web UI. Element editors provide suggestions to use as tags.

New tool assemblies

FRENDS Iron 3.4 is incorporated with new tool assemblies to be used in your processes. First tool is for running an executable on the host machine. The second tool is for executing SSH shell command on destination server and returning an output.

And more..

  • Friendly names for routine tasks to make it easier to distinguish same types of tasks in process.
  • More diverse methods for retrieving data from preious task's execution.
